Planning

I have planned my own production based on the planning I have conducted along with my own creative ideas of the regional magazine industry. Through this, I will make a cover page as well as an advertisement, contents page and article feature. In addition to this I will also construct my two ancillary tasks; a billboard and two hyper linked pages for my magazine.

From my research, I have decided that my magazine pages will feature:

• A color scheme throughout
• A puff and slogan
• Various cover lines
• Bar code and price
• A main image and cover line

Skills

I have also focused on different skills that is required for constructing my magazine. The main skills required is to edit with the software , Adobe Photo shop. I have manipulated this image by different editing techniques I have learnt through You Tube tutorials.

In order to apply these Photo shop techniques, I had to watch various You Tube tutorials to learn different skills which I applied on the prototype above. 

Airbrush

One main skill I applied is a Gaussian Blur, which gives an 'airbrush effect' to a character/ person in a image.

Hair coloring

In the edited image above, I have changed Lana Del Ray's original hair color from brown to red and I have applied this skill to her hair and effectively to her lips.
